Church: Age counts for more than anything. The hierarchy is extremely flat, with a council of elders making most decisions, and no formal ranks. Members spend most of the time tending to the sick, and generally stay out of politics. The monks of Lizen invented their martial arts to protect themselves and the clerics while travelling. Clerics are often accompanied by a protective monk or two.
