The following is a list of characters whose reputations make them well known in the realms. This list may be expanded as I come up with new people.

Description: Regarded as the most powerful mage in Staig, she is a master enchantress. She is in charge of external relations on the Mage Guild Council.

Name: Mikan and Taspis
Race: human
Location: Staig
Description: Also frequently called the twins, these two have to extraordinary ability to aid each others' spellcasting, increasing the power of many spells where cooperation is usually useless. They also serve as the other two members of the Mage Guild Council, with Mikan in charge of training and Taspis the members of the guild.

Name: Eric the Wrong
Race: human
Location: Staig
Description: A former apprentice of Balson's, Eric recently aided in the killing of the Zarod Emperor Kravain and the destruction of the Nameless. This restored his prior memories and made him one of the most powerfull wizards. He since joined the Mage Guild Council as its head.

Location: Geltan Empire
Description: Official High Wizard to the Emperor of Gelta, and the most powerful wizard in the empire. He is said to have eyes that glow entirely blue.

Description: disputed Emperor of the Zarod Empire. He controls the middle of the empire.

Description: Pretender to the throne of the Zarod Empire. After Kravain's death, he attempted to seize the throne but was thwarted. He has established himself in the south of the empire and is leading a rebellion.

Description: Grand Master of Battleaxe, and a hero of the Allied Kingdoms. He distinguished himself many times in his career, and his elite squad called the Blades of Rage are feared by whole armies.

Description: Champion ranger of Hesten.

Description: Champion paladin of Bryskar, and also the head of his church.
