Let Sleeping Gods Lie

For the last thousand years, there have been five gods. Each one has a high priest that has an amulet called a Pendant of Trejagan, which provides a direct link between the wearer and the god. Each of the Pendants belongs to a different race:

Gath, god of Orcs
Alean, god of Elves
Drokon, god of Dwarves
Oshan, god of Giants
Vaen, god of Humans

This all changed only two years ago. A dwarven settlement was overrun by a band of goblins wielding divine magic. Their leader was seen by a surviving dwarf with a new Pendant. This was the introduction of Mirtav, god of Goblins.

At this point an old prophesy, long thought discredited, suddenly came back to light. It states that there are 7 pendants, and that they can be used to awaken the gods. But, the prophesy also says that when the seventh god awakes, they will all return to earth to wage a war against each other for supremecy. If the wrong person awakens the last god, the world is doomed. The race is now on to find the last Pendant. Skirmishes are being fought, and raiding parties have started to go deeper and deeper into foreign territory. War seems imminent.
